As part of the 2024 World Illustrations Award entries, I created illustrations based on Hans Christian Andersen's classic story Thumbelina. Having created many works with a garden-scape theme, I frequently imagine myself as Thumbelina herself. What should I do? Overwhelmed by the plants surrounding me and picking flowers all day.
